The World Economic Forum (WEF) recently launched their annual Global Risk Report. According to this report, cyber security is one of the greatest threats to businesses around the world.
In the report, two particular areas of concern are mentioned. Businesses often overlook mobile internet and machine-to-machine connections. It is vital for businesses to integrate physical and cyber management, strengthen resilience leadership and leverage supporting technology.
According to Premium partner Hewlett Packard Enterprise's chief cyber strategist Tim Grieveson, security professionals need to start thinking like an adversary to identify what data is most likely to be targeted and what tools are most likely to be used. Furthermore, businesses should implement strategies on how to disrupt and manage security breaches when they inevitably occur.
