On June 2 InnovationQuarter, the South-Holland regional development agency, and Rabobank signed an agreement at the Hockey World Cup in The Hague which provides knowledge, a network, and tens of millions of euros of funding for innovative SME entrepreneurs. The goal is to strengthen the South-Holland economy by boosting innovation. This agreement will unlock a larger network and better investment opportunities.

Rinke Zonneveld, general director of InnovationQuarter, says: “This cooperation already existed on a small-scale. And we wanted to expand it. At this moment we have already received 200 investment requests, of which ten percent have come from Rabobank’s network. 95% of the requests are related to investments in the development and start-up phases of companies. By implementing this new strategic cooperation, even more entrepreneurs can take advantage of the opportunities we offer together."
