Raebell – Feasibility Study of Low-level Airspace Surveillance

Initiative by:
Interseco, NoSe Innovations, CityGIS , TU Delft, HedoN Electronic Developments, PSIC , KLPD , Politie Haaglanden, vtsPN and Thales
Status:
Closed

The Raebell project is based on an innovative technical concept that should make possible the surveillance of the lower airspace (below 1500 m), particularly in urban areas with high population density and critical infrastructure. In existing airspace surveillance systems, the lower airspace in is a blind zone, that is only covered in a few places, e.g. around airports.

The project is executed by a consortium with partners from the The Hague area: Interseco, NoSe Innovations, CityGIS , TU Delft, HedoN Electronic Developments, PSIC , KLPD , Politie Haaglanden, vtsPN and Thales.
