More than 35 (inter)national investors attended the event Pitching for Capital @ Fintech Vortex on September 26th 2017 at the Fokker terminal in The Hague. This event gives promising innovative start-ups doing business in the field of Fintech or (Cyber) Security the stage to pitch for investors interested in new challenging investment opportunities.

Nine upcoming start-ups with growing potential pitched in front of a prestigious international panel of experts in the Fintech and (Cyber) Security arena. The pitches were held in two tracks. The first track was about (Cyber)Security, where the HSD partners Cybersprint, Onegini and X-systems pitched their projects next to start-ups Cynation and Indica. In the second track about Fintech, entrepreneurs POM, Declaree, Limitless and Gyomo pitched their ventures.

The international panel of experts: Harry Vollaars (Rabobank), Ben McClure (EIT Digital), Herwig Springer (i5invest), Phil Zimmerman (KPN and TU Delft), Frank Appeldoorn (Volta Ventures) and Sjoerd Spanjer (KPN) gave their feedback to these exiting pitches.

Next to the pitches a keynote about successful funding by Damiano Bolzoni CEO of Security Matters was part of the programme. Chris van’t Hof, technology-specialist, moderated the event.

Pitching for Capital was facilitated by InnovationQuarter (IQ),  EIT Digital, Holland Fintech and The Hague Security Delta (HSD). It was part of the bigger event Fintech Vortex held during the Cyber Security Week and the Startup Fest Europe, which are joining forces.
