Last year, HSD and InnovationQuarter (IQ) signed a Memoradum of Understanding (MOU) with The State of Maryland Department of Commerce to work together and foster economic development through a bilateral Soft Landing Programme for Security Technology companies.
Compumatica, Cybersprint, Robin Radar Systems, Guard From Above and the European Cyber Resilience Research Network will participate in this NL-USA Soft Landing Programme between January and March 2017. They will use this period to meet potential customers and set up new partnerships, leading to the possibility of establishing a permanent presence in the foreign market of Washington DC (Maryland). During this trial period these companies get support and incubation facilities (BWTech Incubator Baltimore) to carry out their international business development.
As part of the programme, 4 cyber & security companies from the USA will temporarily establish their business in The Netherlands (WTC The Hague). During this trial period these companies get support from HSD, SME Connect and InnovationQuarter to investigate the Netherlands and European market potential.
