Introduction: Two New HSD Programme Managers

As of April 2016 two new programme managers - Mark Ruijsendaal and Bram Spitzer - have started at the HSD Foundation located at the HSD Campus in The Hague. They are part of the HSD office team that is committed to strengthen the security cluster by facilitating, organising, and initiating access to knowledge, innovation, market, talent and capital.  

 

Mark Ruijsendaal joined HSD as full-time programme manager. He supports and connects HSD partners through the Human Capital and Knowledge Agenda and several programmes. He has a background in applied research, business development and management in several domains. These include ICT, Safety & Security and Education. He is interested in creating bridges between social and technical sciences, between strategy and operation, and societal and business goals. Before joining HSD he worked as a Business Line Manager for EXIN (world leading independent company for certifying and assessing ICT professionals) and TNO (internationally renowned Dutch institute for applied research).

 

Bram Spitzer started on April 1st in his new role for HSD. His focus is on the acceleration of SMEs and Scale-up organisations and he will support HSD Partners in international growth, funding and Go2Market strategies. Bram also continues his role at EIT Digital where he is working in a European context with HSD partners such as TNO, Thales and TU Delft. He is looking forward into boosting promising HSD partners and HSD as a strong national security cluster in Europe.
