Cyber Security in the Netherlands 2015: Cybercrime and Digital Espionage Highest Threat
Digital espionage and cybercrime form the highest treat for digital security in the Netherlands, this is indicated in the recently published Cyber Security Beeld Nederland report (CSBN). The CSBN report indicates that cooperation between public- and private organisations is necessary to solve cyber security issues.
Along with the CSBN report is the National Cyber Security Strategy announced. The objective of this strategy is to improve the Dutch digital defensibility.
Online awareness is an important aspect of cyber security and therefore is an ‘’Alert Online Campaign’’ organised every year. In cooperation with KPN and Deloitte will HSD organise an child debate event during Alert Online about online safety at 3 November. Secondly will Robin de Haas (Programma Manager HSD) participate in a panel during the Holland strikes back event.
