German Business Week South Germany

From 15 to 17 April 2019 several organisations, including The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (, InnovationQuarter and Amsterdam Trade organise the first edition of the German Business Week. Germany is the most important trade partner of The Netherlands and South Germany (Bavaria, Baden–Württemberg and Hessen) is an economically strong region with many opportunities for Dutch entrepreneurs. This region has the highest economic growth and the lowest unemployment rate of the entire Republic of Germany.


The German Business Week is organised at three data and locations:

  • 15 April – Utrecht
  • 16 April- The Hague
  • 17 April- Wageningen

Smart Cities Mission to New York

A Smart Cities mission is organised to New York from 12 to 15 May 2019. The Netherlands Enterprise Agency ( is organising the mission with the goal to put the Dutch Smart Cities sectors on the map in the north-east of the US. RVO is specifically looking for upscale projects (technological solutions that address a societal problem), that are possible to integrate within American cities.


The Netherlands will have a booth at the Smart Cities New York conference, there is an opportunity to pitch, and specifically for the Dutch delegation, relevant side events such as workshops, match making sessions, roundtable meetings and a European Tech Night will be organised.

Innovation Mission Cybersecurity Taiwan also organises the Innovation Mission Cybersecurity Taiwan from 19 to 24 May 2019. During this mission, participants will have the opportunity to attend the largest cybersecurity conference:  The Explore Next Cyber Taiwan 2019. This is where you will have the opportunity to meet important stakeholders. The goal: to establish market opportunities and connections and to position and expand the Dutch knowledge in the cyberfield.

Global EPIC Soft-Landing Programme

Within the Global EPIC soft-landing program, 9 participating ecosystems from 6 different countries provide, without cost to the companies and entrepreneurs, connections to their partner network, matchmaking with potential business partners, meeting spaces, guidance on recruiting talented employees and market circumstances, incubator facilities and guidance on immigration and legal issues, leading to the possibility of establishing a permanent presence in the foreign market.
