Visma Group, leading provider of business-critical software to private and public enterprises in the Nordic, Baltic and Benelux regions, has reached an agreement to acquire Dutch cloud software provider EBPI, one of the leading providers of governmental Software (SaaS) in the Netherlands. The agreement is subject to advice from EBPI’s works councils. The transaction will be filed with the Dutch competition authorities.
HSD partner EBPI complements Visma’s portfolio and broadens the domains in which they are already active in the Netherlands. At the same time EBPI will benefit from a strong partner to further develop their footprint in the Netherlands whilst enabling the business to offer its services internationally via the Visma Group network.
Carsten Boje Møller, Division Director of Visma Custom Solutions: “The Netherlands is an important market for Visma. This year alone we have acquired a number of Dutch companies, each with a strong position in their respective markets, and with further potential for significant growth and innovation. EBPI is no exception and have a strong position in governmental and financial services whilst also complementing our portfolio in the area of SaaS services. EBPI is delivering mission critical data processing and messaging services between Government, Businesses and Citizens that are vital for Dutch society. We see future benefits for both businesses, enabling us to share each other’s knowledge, strengths and international networks.”
Coen Egberink, General Manager of EBPI: “We are very pleased to become part of the Visma Group. We share the same vision for technological development in our markets and see many opportunities to broaden our services to Dutch clients, as well as international customers, via the Visma network. We believe that these benefits will help us to reinforce our position as strong strategic partners for our clients.”
