Winners Dutch Cyber Security Best Research Paper Award and Best Cyber Security Master Thesis Award Announced

During the ICT.OPEN 2018 on 20 March 2018, the Dutch Cyber Security best Research Papers (DCSRP) and Best Cyber Security Master Thesis (BCMT) Award ceremony took place. 

 

Dutch Cyber Security best Research Papers (DCSRP) Award

This prise was introduced in 2015 to acknowledge the best recent non-commercial scientific cyber security research paper. During the event five recent cyber security research papers were presented, mostly by their main authors. The five papers were selected by a jury out of fifteen papers submitted. The jury announced ASLR on the Line: Practical Cache Attacks on the MMU by Ben Gras, Kaveh Razavi et al as winner.


Best Cyber Security Master Thesis (BCMT) Award

During the 'Cyber Security Research Session' the winners of the Best Cyber Security Master Thesis (BCMT) Award were announced by the jury. The first price went to Jos Wetzels, M.Sc. (TU/e) for KINTSUGI: Identifying & addressing challenges in embedded binary security and the second price went to Olivier van der Toorn, M.Sc. (UT) for Combating Snowshoe Spam with Fire.
