HSD Review 2017

At the start of 2018 we would like to inform you about several recent publications. In the autumn of 2017, De Correspondent published a critical article on The Hague Security Delta. This article led to questions from The Hague Municipal Council and the House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer). The answers of the Ministry of Justice and Security and of the Municipal Executive of The Hague were very clear. Both are content with the way HSD fullfils its distinctive role, its results, as well as the outcomes of the work delivered by HSD and its partners for a more secure society and for the national and regional economy. The questions and answers can be found in the newsletter which was sent on 8 January 2018. In this newsletter we also present the facts about HSD and its results in collaboration with its partners.

Partner research 

At the end of 2017 a partner research was conducted for HSD. The results can be found in this report. In short, the partners on average reward HSD with a 7.3/10. We are grateful for the rating and appreciation from our partners, but it also leaves room for improvement. HSD will therefore take steps to improve its actions and communication about the often complex ways of operating in a diverse stakeholder environment.
