The International Cyber Security Forum 2016
In today’s society, data is the fuel for digital transformation. Data allows for the irrigation of all networks and information systems, and thus human activities. The numbers are staggering: 144 billion emails are sent worldwide everyday, 30 gigabytes are published every second, 800 000 new web sites appear daily, the amount of available information doubles every two years… this with only 42% of the world’s population digitally connected. Despite this exponential growth, data remains a fragile piece of capital. It is necessary to improve the conditions for creation as well as maintain, enrich, transform, enhance and protect them in order to make data a source of advancement for mankind.
With the 8th edition of the FIC dedicated to data security and privacy, we would like more than ever an open, participatory discussion involving representatives such as service providers, trusted security solution professionals as well as end users from the public and academic sector. Trust is something built together!
