The Hague Security Delta and Holland Instrumentation, the high-tech network of South Holland, would like to invite you to the upcoming HSD-Café/HI Tea on high-tech instrumentation for security. Security systems are becoming increasingly more complex. Well-designed instrumentations are crucial for operating such systems, which include unmanned automatic vehicles and driving robots. Sensitive cameras, smart sensors and fast data processing are being combined in order to allow systems to operate safely, to scan the environment for possible threats and thus to guarantee our security.

This fast evolving field allows for new opportunities for cross-overs between instrumentations and cyber security. Because of this, Holland Instrumentation (HI) and HSD have decided to team up and organise a ‘world café’ session on 1 September as a combined HSD Café / HI-Tea.

Please note! This HSD Café will have a different setup than the previous cafés:

From 15:30h until 16:00h, the registration-procedure will take place, in which visitors will receive their name badge. Please make sure you arrive on time, as we would like to start at 16:00h.

From 16:00h until 16:30h, entrepreneurs -including Aerialtronics, AET Europe and Robot Security Systems- will present their product or product design. They will also present their technology, knowledge and/or skill gaps.

From 16.30h until 17.30h, the audience will get the opportunity to discuss ideas and solutions they could offer to fill these gaps in a ‘world-café setting’. In two rounds small groups seated around a table will look for possible solutions and cross-overs. During the break between the two rounds the audience will get the opportunity to switch to another table. This is a great way to meet new potential business partners and getting new insights.

From 17:30h onwards, the bar is open for drinks and there will be ample opportunity to network.

About the HSD Café:

The HSD Cafés are organised for HSD partners on every first and third Thursday of each month (except on public holidays). From cyber to critical infrastructure, 20 sessions will be organised around security topics relevant for companies, the government, and knowledge institutions. The HSD Cafés provide an excellent opportunity to meet (potential) business partners, bring along your contacts, expand your knowledge, and shape the debate on key security issues of the future. Tell us what you think. Let your voice count, expand your network, and join the debate.

About HI-tea:

HI-tea is organised by Holland Instrumentation about four times per year to strengthen the network of high tech industries, knowledge institutes, investors, education and government. Usually, a lecture is held by one top speaker, such as Ineke Dezentjé (FME), Ab van der Touw (CEO Siemens) or Martijn Wisse (professor Biorobotics). These contributions lead to animated discussions with the audience, promptly followed by drinks that allow the visitors to expand and deepen their network. Holland Instrumentation strives to organise HI-tea together with other platforms in the region and thus build cross-overs.
