Participants will be able to use the Holland Pavillion at the IFSEC Africa show in Johannesburg and promote their products and services. On the evening of the 14th the group will leave for Cape Town, where we will host the "Cyber Security Round Table". This is a high level event by invitation only, geared towards the top officials in all SADC countries. SADC has offered a framework to all 17 member countries to have Cyber Security in place in 2013. Most of the countries have not complied to this framework yet and are interested in strategy, by also in buying products and services. The seminar will be chaired by a very senior Dutch government advisor and advisor to Nato. In conjunction with the Netherlands Embassies in teh Sadec countries we expect to attract decision makers from over 10 countries. The round table will also be the platform where the Global Cyber Security Center will be officially opened: this platform will be a means for Dutch companies to have a presence in Southern Africa. The last official day of the mission will be for an open conference where all participating companies can present their products and services to the audience. The City of Cape Town and the Province of Western Cape support the mission and will offer access to all tenders.
