MABS is an international symposium and stands for ‘Military Aspects of Blast and Shock’. Scientists, engineers, consultants and others who are interested in or work in the fields of blast and shock wave research and associated thermal effects are to participate in MABS 25. In addition to a full technical programme, delegates will enjoy a welcoming reception, an excursion tour and a conference banquet dinner.
Traditionally, the MABS Symposia have a single or parallel technical session format and include technical and/or social excursions. All sessions are unclassified and papers selected for presentation are expected to fall into the broad topic area of blast and shock wave research. The MABS conferences usually start on Monday morning and end on Friday after lunch. About 100 papers are accepted for oral presentation in technical sessions. Additional 20 papers may be accepted for a poster session presentation. Both oral and poster papers are considered as equivalent and will be published in the Proceedings of the conference
