The Security Research Event 2013
The European Commission (EC) is pleased to announce its first participation in Milipol Paris 2013, the 18th edition of this leading exhibition for the internal State security market. The EC will organise a major Security Research Event at Milipol Paris, combining a dedicated Security Research Conference with an exhibition of the results of key EU security research projects.
The main subject of the Security Research Conference will be the European Commission's initiatives to meet the challenge of providing a more secure society by 2020.
Among the main highlights, Milipol Paris 2013 will provide the stage to launch the Horizon 2020 Secure Societies Challenge and to have a session on our broader activities on Security Industrial Policy.
Moreover, the European Commission will present the results of its research and how she deals with societal and ethical issues. Finally, there will be a session on international perspectives on the security at major events.
