ConnectechNL Masterclass Series: Privacy en de connectivity sector
Arnold Roosendaal of the Privacy Company and Eric Thijssen of Always Hello, 45 min
will address the Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG) and which requirements for privacy protection this new legislation entails. They also establish the connection to the practice of designing and offering services and apps. Eric Thijssen, will discuss how they have implemented and what pitfalls they experienced. The Always Hello platform is designed to securely share contact information with each other. All data is complete, double-blind, encrypted, and no contact information is stored centrally. Specific attention will be paid to Privacy by Design: What is it, how do you it, how you show it to, and what's in it for you? So we will see that a lot is possible with the right equipment and privacy is not always a barrier for innovative services.
Diederik The of the Privacy Company 45 min
will go into Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG) and identify new requirements contained therein. Then we make the link to what that means for your daily practice. And we offer practical tools for implementing Privacy by Design (PBD). Embedding privacy into the design of products or services will soon be mandatory. So far, there were mainly abstract notions of explanation. We have developed a practicable framework with concrete recommendations, which the proper application of PBD can be proven.
Friederike van der Jagt of Avast 30 min
