The Royal Netherlands Army and the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research TNO will host the Future Force Conference 2013 in Amsterdam. During the conference in November 2013, Professor Julian Lindley-French, will interact with decision makers from the military, government and defence industries with the intention of coming up with challenging answers and innovative solutions that will have to ensure the Dutch national security in the future.

The Future Force Conference, aimed at defining, shaping and preparing the “future forces” for the Dutch national security has three main objectives:

• Identify and discuss pivotal strategic issues that impact future joint/interagency operations in a land environment and in support for civilian authorities;
• Identify game changers that drive future operations and support forward thinking;
• Serve as a platform to build and strengthen relationships and create a community of interest for militaries, defence industries and knowledge institutes.

The not-for-profit basis of this conference makes it unique in Europe. The Royal Netherlands Army and TNO emphasise that attending such a prestigious conference usually costs around €1.300,00, discouraging key decision makers from attending it. The FFC2013 is free for government officials, but seats for this conference are limited and by invitation only.

The organisers of this conference are therefore looking for sponsorship partners to contribute to the costs of the conference and obtain the privileged opportunity to represent their organisations in their very own exhibition space. In return the organisers provide a unique opportunity to discuss the challenges for the Netherlands in a closed and secure setting with key decision makers.
