A new research “Export opportunities of the Dutch ICT sector to Germany” from KPMG shows that thanks to our innovative and competitive ICT-sector, Dutch businesses can respond to developments in Germany. This enables chances for collaboration, increasing export and exchange of knowledge.

Cyber security solutions in Germany are getting more relevant since the German investing in Industry 4.0 and the increasing digitalising of creation and production processes. The Germans have an increasing demand for knowledge and skills on the subjects: Internet of Things, Cyber Security, Big Data, Software Robotics, Cloud and Blockchain. This gives Dutch businesses with viable ICT-solutions ample opportunities for growth and investments in different German industries.

Join the Seminar “Opportunities Dutch ICT Solutions in German Sectors”  on 30 November 2017 in The Hague. Entrepreneurs will have the chance to expand their business network, get introduced with several German ICT-parties and can inquire information about the activities that the ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate will organise in 2018. The upcoming seminar gives a sneak peak at the Hannover Messe, which will be held from 23 until 27 April 2018. De Messe is one of the biggest industrial fairs of the world. Not only the ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate helps paving the way. Also the Municipality of the Hague gives 10 Dutch SME’s in 2018 the chance to be facilitated with networks and tools for the German Market to establish and increase their sales in Germany, which is still by far the most important trade partner for the Netherlands.

Based on these developments some activities will be realised for the German Market among others by EIT Digital. EIT Digital delivers breakthrough digital innovations to the market and breeds entrepreneurial talent for economic growth and improved quality of life in Europe.  With an accelerator programme and a network who also knows the German Market, businesses with new ICT solutions can get accesses to the German Market on several ways.

What we did before……….

In Q2 of 2017 a Dutch trade delegation to South Germany already had the chance to meet existing and potential German partners in Munich and Stuttgart. The mission was facilitated by InnovationQuarter and the Economic Programme Council Zuidvleugel. During that mission the participating entrepreneurs were subjected to themes on Cyber Security and Personalised Medicin. Also the European Enterprise Network (EEN) provided the opportunity to network with Southern German partners as part of a matchmaking event. HSD partners that joined the mission were: Onegini, Compumatica Secure Networks, Cybersprint, Novaccent, Security Academy, Hudson Cybertech, Delft University of Technology, Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity, Securelink and Software Improvement Group.
