In May 2016, The Hague Security Delta has taken the initiative to stimulate cooperation with other European regions that are strong in safety and security. Aim is to jointly enhance the cooperation between public and private parties, academia and R&D organisations and stimulate innovation and economic growth. First steps have been made, connecting to security regions in France, Denmark, Finland and Germany. During the SRIE2016 in The Hague this cooperation was invigorated.

As follow up on this cooperation, HSD visited the 'Security Network Munich' and participated in their

annual Munich Cyber Security Conference on 16 February 2017. It provided the opportunity to meet public and private parties and get the latest information on actual topics, such as the role of the Government regarding data & cyber security, and security challenges & remedies when building the internet of things.

The cooperation between HSD and the Security Network Munich also results in two mutual trade missions in 2017. The trade mission to München en Stuttgart will take place from 1 - 3 May. Want to join this mission? Click here for more information. An incoming trade mission from Germany to HSD will be organised later in 2017.
