The Municipality of The Hague makes one million Euro available for ‘The Hague Security Delta’s Development Fund’. The fund aims to stimulate innovation and knowledge creation in security and strengthening the cooperation between the public and private sector. The funding will go to Dutch companies and institutions in the security sector. The application deadline is the 30th of October 2014.

Proposals will be assessed on their potential for creating additional jobs and market value. One of the conditions is the presence of a customer with whom the project can be realised. Also, the contributors of the application must finance 50 percent of the projects themselves.

On the 15th of July the board of mayor and alderman officialy announced the requirements of the HSD Development Fund. In addition, an information session about the fund was organised at the HSD Campus. This meeting was attended by some 75 businesses, knowledge institutions and governments.
