Cyber Service Nato to The Hague because of Presence Security Cluster

NATO has decided to concentrate all activities in the field of information technology, digital security of private networks and missile defence in the Hague. Within two years between 50 to 100 NATO staff members will be housed in the property on the Waalsdorpervlakte where already a small division of the Nato Communications and Information Agency is settled.

An important argument for NATO's decision is the presence in The Hague of a cluster of major international organisations in the field of security such as Europol and Eurojust, as well as a growing number of companies specialised in cyber security. The decision is, according to the Municipal Council, proof that efforts to create an international security cluster in the Netherlands are starting to show results.
